About Us

David is a lifelong resident of the Parkersburg, West Virginia area. He is Parkersburg South High School's first graduate to become an attorney. He then graduated from West Virginia University and later from the West Virginia University College of Law in 1978.

David has been named one of the top ten real estate attorneys in West Virginia by First American Title Insurance Company, which is the number one real estate title insurance company in the USA.

David is a leader in real estate transactions, both residential and commercial, with over 40 years of experience. Palmer & Associates serves fourteen West Virginia counties and Washington County, Ohio. 

David is one of the first attorneys in West Virginia certified as a Best Practices real estate attorney. He is a member of numerous state and local bar associations and is a former Special Assistant Attorney General. 

David is a founding member of the West Virginia Real Estate Lawyers Association. His practice of law focuses on real estate as well as estate planning.
